Mine Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Mine Business Analyst to join our Finance team at Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. In this role, you'll analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making. You will also ensure that internal controls are effective and improve site cost reporting and accountability. Your key responsibilities will include: - Coordinate the month-end closing cycle and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. - Lead quarterly variance analyses and balance sheet reviews, while preparing major cost variance analysis reports. - Perform ad hoc analyses for site management and corporate office and prepare monthly reconciliations. - Promote a culture of cost control and ensure compliance with reporting standards, such as IFRS. - Maintain an organized documentation structure for financial reports and assist with ad hoc requests from management and technical staff. - Facilitate communication between the Finance department and mine site departments, visiting the site regularly to support internal controls and financial oversight.
