Role Summary
Lead and coordinate mill mechanical maintenance and planning activities to maximize plant availability, equipment reliability, and production performance while ensuring safe and cost-effective use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical maintenance and planning activities to maximize plant availability and control costs.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, standards, and best practices for mill equipment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical equipment failures and repairs.
- Ensure adequate manpower, training, equipment, and resources are available to meet maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate mechanical activities with other departments and support mill projects, equipment installation, repair, and rebuilds.
- Monitor maintenance performance, conduct equipment audits, and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop the mechanical team, promoting safety, teamwork, accountability, and performance.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
