We are seeking a PMO Manager to lead and scale our Project Management Office (PMO). This role serves as both a senior Project Manager and people leader, responsible for managing a team of Project Managers while establishing standards, governance, and best practices across all project delivery efforts. The PMO Manager ensures consistent, high-quality execution of Enterprise Health implementations from pre-sale through go-live, while driving accountability, visibility, and continuous improvement across the project portfolio. Key Responsibilities PMO Leadership & Team Management - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers - Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development support - Support onboarding and training of new Project Managers Serve as an escalation point for complex or at-risk projects - Balance resource allocation across projects to ensure workload sustainability Project Portfolio Oversight - Maintain visibility into all active projects, timelines, risks, and dependencies - Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope Review project plans, forecasts, and deliverables for quality and alignment - Partner with leadership to prioritize projects and manage capacity planning Standards, Governance & Process - Define, implement, and enforce project management standards and best practices - Ensure consistent use of tools, templates, and documentation - Oversee governance processes including change control, risk management, and approvals - Ensure project artifacts are properly maintained (Smartsheet, Google Drive, Redmine, etc.) Stakeholder & Executive Communication - Provide regular portfolio-level reporting to leadership - Translate project data into clear insights, risks, and recommendations - Align with Sales, Product, Development, Integration, and Leadership teams - Support pre-sales efforts with scoping, timelines, and resource estimates Financial & Resource Management - Oversee project budgets, hours, and utilization across the PMO - Monitor KPIs and delivery metrics at both project and portfolio levels - Identify risks related to scope, cost, or staffing early and proactively Quality & Delivery Assurance - Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations - Support go-live readiness and successful handoff to support teams - Lead post-project reviews and lessons learned initiatives Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and scalability - Refine PMO processes as the organization grows - Champion a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning Required Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience. - Experience: - - 5–8+ years of software/SaaS project management experience - 2+ years of people leadership or team management experience - Managing multiple concurrent, cross-functional projects - Pre-sales scoping, budgeting, and timeline planning - Experience working with executive-level stakeholders - Skills: - - PMO leadership and portfolio management - People management and coaching - Advanced project planning, risk, and change management - Strong executive and client communication - Cross-functional leadership and escalation management - Financial oversight and KPI tracking - Proficiency with PM tools (Smartsheet, Google Suite, etc.) - Strong organizational and decision-making skills - Ability to travel up to 20% Preferred Qualifications - PMP or similar certification - Experience in healthcare or medical software environments - Experience scaling or formalizing a PMO function Why Join Us?
