Why Oregon Tile and Design?
We are a tile, stone, and flooring showroom in Salem. We sell the material and we install it, mostly for homeowners redoing kitchens, bathrooms, and floors, and for the designers and builders who bring us their projects.
Leads come in steadily and every one lands in our CRM. What we do not have is one person who works each lead to a yes or a no, and who opens new designer and builder accounts on top of that. That is this seat.
What You'll Do
Run the showroom floor, carry every lead to a decision, and build the designer and builder book that feeds the showroom.
Day-to-Day
- Run the showroom Monday through Friday. Greet walk-ins, pull samples, and help people choose tile, stone, and flooring that fits the room and the budget.
- Work your leads every day. Call the same day, get quotes out fast, follow up until you have a clear yes or no.
- Call past customers we have not heard from.
- Build relationships with interior designers and builders around Salem. The target list, outreach templates, and showroom event plan are ready for you.
- Keep Floorzap current. Send the owner a short pipeline note every Monday.
- Measure and estimate in customers' homes once you have learned our process. We train you.
What We're Looking For
- Two or more years selling something people take their time deciding on. Tile, flooring, cabinets, countertops, remodeling, furniture, and building materials all count.
- You follow up without being reminded and keep many conversations moving at once.
- You help people picture a finished room. Design sense matters more than a design degree.
- You learn software fast. You will be in a CRM every day.
- You run your own day. On most shifts you are the one on the floor.
Helps but not required: tile installation knowledge (thinset, waterproofing, Schluter systems, waste factors); Russian, Ukrainian, or Spanish.
