One Force.  Job Summary  You will complete the firmware migration for the Signals device fleet that a paired engineer started earlier in the year. Together you will own the firmware layer end to end, in partnership with the centralized Engineering Services function that handles fleet-wide release automation.  Location: ONSITE - Sunnyvale, CA About the Role  You will complete the firmware migration for the Signals device fleet that a paired engineer started earlier in the year. Together you will own the firmware layer end to end, in partnership with the centralized Engineering Services function that handles fleet-wide release automation.  Key Responsibilities  - Complete the phased migration of Signals device firmware from vendor to internal ownership.  - Provide on-call coverage and redundancy for the firmware layer.  - Partner with Engineering Services on unified OTA delivery.  - Contribute to firmware release process, version control, and rollback discipline.  - Participate in cross-product firmware standards through the Center of Engineering Excellence.  Required Qualifications  - 7+ years in embedded firmware engineering.  - Strong C/C++ and Linux embedded systems experience.  - OTA update mechanisms and production fleet firmware experience.  - Comfort joining an in-flight migration and an established codebase.  Nice to Have  - IoT or security device fleet experience.  - Multi-product firmware standards work.  - Prior work in vendor-to-internal codebase transitions.  Compensation and Benefits  Base Salary: $160,000 to $190,000 (DOE)  Equity: Stock options  Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off  Location Requirement: Full-time, on-site at Sunnyvale HQ
