Warehouse Associate (Temporary/On-Call )

Resource Area for Teaching (RAFT) is looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team on a temporary/on-call basis in San Jose, CA. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying active and takes pride in keeping warehouse operations safe, organized, and efficient. You’ll support material pickups from our community partners, load and unload vehicles, receive and organize inventory, and help move materials throughout our warehouse and retail space. What You’ll Do • Drive RAFT vehicles, including a box truck or Sprinter van, for material pickups and inventory movement • Load, unload, receive, sort, stage, and organize inventory • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, and other warehouse equipment • Coordinate material pickups with RAFT’s donors and community partners • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment • Provide minor facilities support as needed • Follow warehouse procedures and all health and safety requirements What We’re Looking For • Valid California driver’s license and clean DMV record • Forklift certification or ability to complete forklift training • Previous warehouse and/or truck-driving experience preferred • Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work • Dependable, responsible, and comfortable working independently • Strong customer service and communication skills • Box truck driving experience is a plus If you’re reliable, safety-conscious, and enjoy hands-on work while supporting an organization committed to education and our community, we’d love to hear from you.
