More about the role:
Burson is seeking an Executive Assistant to support one or two members of Burson Leadership Team in New York. This role serves as a trusted partner responsible for managing executive operations, coordinating priorities, and ensuring the smooth execution of activities across the Executive Office.
The Executive Assistant plays a critical role in maximizing leadership effectiveness by managing complex scheduling, travel, communications, meetings, and stakeholder interactions. Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders across Burson and WPP, this individual helps ensure executive time, attention, and resources are focused on the organization's highest priorities.
Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced global environment while managing competing priorities with professionalism and confidence.
What you'll do:
Executive Support & Calendar Management
- Manage complex calendars and scheduling requirements for senior executives.
- Prioritize competing requests and help optimize executive time and availability.
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively identify solutions.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones.
- Ensure executives are prepared for meetings through effective calendar and logistics management.
Travel & Meeting Coordination
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and related logistics.
- Manage itineraries, travel documentation, and expense reporting.
- Organize executive meetings, board meetings, offsites, and executive events.
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and supporting documentation.
- Track meeting actions and support follow-up activities as needed.
Executive Operations
- Support day-to-day administrative activities for senior executive leaders.
- Manage invoices, expense reports, purchase orders, and operational processes.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and organizational documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support business needs.
- Assist with special projects and administrative initiatives as assigned.
Stakeholder Engagement & Office Coordination
- Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships across Burson, WPP, and partners.
- Support leadership communications and coordination efforts.
- Partner closely with leadership team members and key stakeholders to ensure alignment across executive priorities and activities.
- Help maintain efficient operating rhythms across the Executive Office.
Experience that contributes to success:
- 10-15+ years of experience supporting senior executives in an Executive Assistant or related role.
- Experience supporting C-suite executives within a complex, fast-paced organization.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating complex travel, meetings, and executive logistics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
- High degree of professionalism, sound judgment, and executive presence.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between:
$85,000—$100,000 USD
