Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Columbus, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Starting Salary: $65,000+ annually (based on experience)
Are you a highly organized leader with experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, child welfare, or human services? We are seeking a Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential treatment program serving youth in a structured, trauma-informed environment.
About the Role
The Program Manager provides operational leadership and administrative oversight for a residential treatment program. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting staff and supervisors, coordinating admissions and discharges, managing scheduling and payroll functions, maintaining facility readiness, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Support payroll, attendance tracking, and onboarding processes.
- Provide oversight and guidance to supervisors and direct care teams.
- Monitor program operations to maintain a safe, organized, and supportive environment.
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, resident orientation, and property inventory procedures.
- Oversee inventory and ordering of residential, office, and program supplies.
- Coordinate medical, psychiatric, educational, and community appointments.
- Partner with treatment teams, county agencies, and external providers to support resident needs.
- Assist with operational support during high-acuity situations and staffing challenges.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice, or a related human services setting required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with scheduling systems, documentation platforms, Microsoft Office, and electronic communication tools.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and residential treatment operations preferred.
