Technical Project Manager – Must be from Development background

Technical Project Manager – Must be from Development background Jefferson City, MO, or Kansas City, MO (In-Office)   Experience Level: 12+ Years Experience in programming side – preferably Java or C++/C# or combination   Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in managing software development teams that develop enterprise applications in Java - Experience in programming – preferably Java or C++/C# - Experience leading staff using an agile methodology - Knowledge of project management standards and tools - Experience in project management - Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with both the business community and the technical community - Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail  Responsibilities: - Provide project management for a team of Java programmers responsible for multiple projects. - Lead and mentor staff at the personnel and technical levels. - Provide assistance for analysis, design, testing, and implementation of new or existing systems. - Provide assistance for installation and/or implementation of new or existing purchased systems. - Create and maintain project plans for multiple projects your team is responsible for. - Provide assistance in resolving problems with existing systems by analyzing the problem or situation and deciding upon a course of action. - Research and evaluate new software systems. - Research and evaluate new tools to be used by developers to increase productivity. - Understand and insure that programming standards and policies are being implemented by your team. - Communicate with the users to determine problems or design requirements - Create a team environment in order to complete programming projects in a timely manner - Understand and ensure that all projects follow the Systems Development Life Cycle process - Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Application Development.      Regards,   Manoj Goud Derex Technologies INC Contact : 973-834-5005 Ext 206 All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
