Searcys are looking for a Senior Events Planner to join the team at 116 Pall Mall.  As a Senior Events Planner you will manage and plan all private, wedding, and corporate events in line with company policies, ensuring exceptional client experiences, protection of brand reputation, and achievement of revenue and profit targets. The role focuses on high-quality event planning, effective communication with internal teams and suppliers, maximising up-selling opportunities, and supporting repeat business. 116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London. Originally de-signed by John Nash, the architect behind Marble Arch and Brighton Pavilion. This venue benefits from traditional meeting rooms to glamourous chandelier filled ballrooms. To maximise up-selling opportunities for both 116 Pall Mall and Searcys. To prepare weekly event pack and communicate all relevant information to other departments during the pre event meetings Minimum 40 hours a week £39k salary  10% bonus applicable across the year Start date - December 2026 / early 2027 Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the event booking diary, ensuring all bookings are planned and delivered within venue SOPs and agreed deadlines. - Coordinate and monitor event planning activities, supporting junior team members to ensure event packs, function sheets, and client requirements are completed accurately and on time. - Maintain excellent client communication, handling enquiries promptly, managing event details, upselling opportunities, and building strong relationships with key accounts. - Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments to ensure the smooth planning and successful delivery of all events. - Lead operational communication through event sheets, daily updates, team briefings, and operational meetings to ensure all stakeholders are fully informed. - Welcome clients on event days, oversee event execution, and communicate any last-minute changes to operational teams. - Manage deposits, invoicing, and payment processes, ensuring financial procedures are followed and events do not proceed without approved payments. - Ensure compliance with all health & safety, hygiene, licensing, security, and legal requirements, while representing Searcys professionally at all times. - Train, develop, motivate, and support the events planning team, maintaining training records, driving team performance, supporting venue theming projects, and achieving team retention objectives. • Proven experience in event planning within a high-end venue, hotel, or catering company Is preferable • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • A passion for delivering exceptional events and client experiences. • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. • Knowledge of London’s events and hospitality market is an advantage.
