We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant I to join our Accounting and Finance team. This entry-level accounting position is ideal for candidates with experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, revenue accounting, cash reconciliation, and financial reporting. The Staff Accountant will support the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions while maintaining accounting records in accordance with company policies and established accounting procedures. This position requires strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems. Candidates with experience supporting accounting operations in a fast-paced business environment and who possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills will thrive in this role. What You'll Do: - Prepare and record entry-level journal entries, accruals, and general ledger transactions in accordance with the corporate month-end closing schedule. - Perform daily cash reconciliations, revenue reconciliations, and revenue auditing activities to ensure financial accuracy. - Assist in maintaining accounting records and supporting general ledger accounting functions. - Research accounting transactions and retrieve supporting documentation for senior accounting staff and financial reporting teams. - Prepare assigned balance sheet reconciliations accurately and within established deadlines. - Investigate reconciling items, identify discrepancies, and communicate exceptions to senior accounting staff for review and resolution. - Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes. - Assist with accounting audits, compliance activities, and financial documentation requests as needed. - Maintain organized accounting records and ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures. - Carry out any reasonable request assigned by management.
