UNLEASH AI INNOVATORS, SECURELY Software is being rewritten in real time. AI agents are starting to write more code than humans do, at a speed no security team has ever had to match, and that single shift is opening up the biggest opportunity our industry has seen in a decade. We're not bracing for it, we're building the company that owns it. Snyk is building the next generation security platform where security isn't a set of tools people operate. It's a team of security agents working alongside your engineers, finding, fixing, and governing risk at the speed software is now built. These agents work alongside both the company build and the agents they adopt. Security stops being a queue of work waiting for people, and becomes a coordinated workforce companies direct and trust. JOB SUMMARY As a GTM Business Applications Director, you will lead the application strategy and business partnership supporting Snyk's go-to-market organization. You will translate commercial priorities into an integrated roadmap, align investment and delivery capacity, and be accountable for the adoption and business value of the capabilities delivered. You will connect GTM priorities with Business Technology Delivery and the AI team, helping align business applications, automation, and AI initiatives across a shared roadmap. You will join the Business Technology team and serve as the primary technology partner to leaders across Marketing, Sales, Partners, Customer Success, and Services. Your portfolio spans customer acquisition, opportunity management, quoting, renewal, and expansion, with dependencies across Finance, Legal, and Product. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build trusted relationships with GTM leaders, understand their strategies, and shape initiatives around clear business problems, accountable sponsors, and measurable outcomes. Challenge proposed solutions constructively and coordinate dependencies across Business Technology so stakeholders have a clear point of accountability. - Own the GTM applications roadmap and the cadence for intake, prioritization, delivery planning, and business reviews. Keep routine requests lightweight, make tradeoffs within agreed capacity and investment limits explicit, and agree delivery commitments with technical leaders. Escalate unresolved funding or priority conflicts with a recommendation, and communicate material risks and changes promptly. - Own business discovery, capability definition, functional requirements, and business readiness. Partner with Business Technology Delivery and Architecture on solution design, technical requirements, estimates, implementation, and operational support. - Build and develop the GTM business applications capability. Coach analysts and business partners, identify skill and capacity gaps, and coordinate employees, shared delivery teams, and external partners against portfolio priorities. - Own the GTM application investment plan within delegated authority. Partner with Finance and Procurement on business cases, vendor selection, renewals, license utilization, and application rationalization. Evaluate process changes and existing capabilities before recommending additional tools. - Ensure initiatives have clear acceptance criteria, business-owned user acceptance testing, release-readiness decisions, training, and post-launch support. Partner with technical owners to improve reliability, resolve recurring issues, and verify that delivered capabilities achieve their intended outcomes. - Partner with Architecture, Data, Security, and application owners to maintain trusted GTM data, reliable integrations, appropriate access controls, and a maintainable application landscape. Ensure significant changes address downstream dependencies and technical debt. - Partner with GTM leaders, the AI team, and Business Technology Delivery on AI-enabled initiatives. Agree ownership and responsibilities, contribute business and application expertise, and coordinate priorities, dependencies, and integration into GTM workflows. WHAT YOU BRING - Typically 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in business applications, GTM systems, or related functions, including 5+ years leading teams and cross-functional technology portfolios, or equivalent demonstrated experience at this scope. - Demonstrated success aligning senior leaders, resolving competing priorities, and delivering business change in a SaaS environment, supported by clear communication and sound judgment. - Deep understanding of end-to-end GTM processes and the operational needs of a SaaS business. - Strong knowledge of Salesforce and adjacent platforms across marketing automation, partner management, customer success, CPQ, and integration, with the technical judgment to evaluate designs, data dependencies, and maintainability alongside delivery and architecture leaders. - Experience developing people, coordinating distributed teams and external partners, and leading through influence across shared delivery organizations. - Demonstrated ownership of technology roadmaps, investment planning, vendor relationships, and application lifecycle decisions. - Practical experience improving adoption, process performance, and operating efficiency, including the use of automation or AI where it delivers measurable value. ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE WE VALUE - Experience supporting new products, commercial models, or acquisitions. - Relevant Salesforce or other enterprise-platform certifications. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE GTM leaders involve you early in staff discussions and business planning, seek your advice before committing to technology solutions, and trust you to help shape priorities. Business and delivery teams share a clear view of commitments, and delivery teams receive well-defined, sequenced work. Application investments produce measurable improvements in adoption, process performance, user experience, reliability, and cost.
