Packaging & Labelling Manager

At Rohlik, our Private Label portfolio is growing across multiple markets — and every new product needs packaging that is legally correct, commercially clear and consistent with the brand. We’re looking for a Packaging & Labelling Manager who will own the packaging and labelling process for our Private Label products across Rohlik Group. This is a highly cross-functional role combining food labelling compliance, packaging development and project management. You will coordinate suppliers, buyers, brand managers, designers and external advisors, making sure every product moves from initial data collection to final approved packaging accurately and on time.   WHY THIS ROLE IS EXCITING - You will have direct ownership of how our private label products appear on the shelf and to our customers across multiple markets. - You will work at the intersection of food, regulation, packaging and design — not in a purely legal or administrative role. - You will manage both new product launches and updates to existing products, often across many projects at the same time. - You will work closely with suppliers, Commercial and Marketing, giving you broad exposure across the full private label development process. - Your work will have a visible result: every approved package becomes a real product our customers can buy.   WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own the packaging and labelling process for private label products from initial supplier data through final approval - Ensure compliance of food labels across markets, including ingredients, allergens, nutritional information, mandatory declarations and claims - Collect and validate product information from suppliers and other internal stakeholders - Coordinate packaging content with buyers, suppliers, brand managers and designers - Review and approve packaging artwork from both a legal and brand perspective - Manage multiple packaging projects in parallel, keeping priorities, deadlines and approvals on track - Support both new product launches and changes to existing products - Coordinate local-language requirements and ensure labels are correct across relevant markets - Work with external regulatory advisors on complex questions where needed - Stay up to date with regulatory changes and translate them into practical actions for the relevant teams   WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Experience with food labelling, packaging compliance or food product declarations, ideally within the food industry - Understanding of European food labelling requirements and how they translate into packaging in practice - Project management and organisational skills — you are comfortable managing many products and deadlines at the same time - A practical, detail-oriented approach and the ability to keep projects moving forward - Experience working cross-functionally with suppliers, buyers, marketing, brand or design teams - Confidence making decisions independently and resolving complex packaging or labelling issues - Strong written and verbal English, including the ability to explain complex requirements clearly - Czech/Slovak is an advantage - Experience with visual design or packaging development is an advantage - Passion for food and awareness of consumer trends is a plus WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Fair reward - You’ll get a strong fixed salary — no bonus games, no politics.
