Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, coordinate and monitor issue management and problem-solving activities.
• Analyze incoming issues and collect all relevant background information.
• Perform first-level root cause analysis to ensure proper issue characterization and escalation.
• Generate reports, dashboards and status updates related to identified issues.
• Assess potential impacts, risks and consequences of proposed corrective actions.
• Partner with project stakeholders to define and implement appropriate solutions.
• Provide recommendations and guidance to management regarding issue resolution strategies.
• Review inputs from impacted teams and departments to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and monitor corrective action plans to ensure effective issue closure.
• Coordinate with technical experts and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement preventive actions.
• Define and promote new processes and best practices to prevent issue reoccurrence.
• Support vehicle-level issue resolution and contribute to project convergence activities.
• Ensure timely communication and follow-up of open issues with all stakeholders.
• Monitor issue resolution KPIs and contribute to project maturity indicators.
 
 With a master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field,
You have experience in Automotive Electrical & Electronic (E/E) Architecture, vehicle development processes and issue management activities.
You possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, allowing you to investigate technical issues, perform root cause analysis and coordinate corrective action plans. You are familiar with automotive diagnostic and log analysis tools such as DiAnalyzer, CDA, CANalyzer and CANdela. You can collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders, support decision-making processes and ensure timely resolution of vehicle-related issues while maintaining project objectives and quality standards.
Required Competencies:
Issue Management & Problem Solving
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to investigate complex technical issues and define corrective actions.
• Experience in issue tracking, reporting and escalation management.
• Capability to assess risks and impacts associated with technical decisions.
E/E Architecture & Vehicle Development
• Good knowledge of automotive E/E architecture design.
• Understanding of typical vehicle E/E architectures and system interactions.
• Good knowledge of vehicle development processes and project lifecycle.
• Experience working within automotive engineering environments.
Diagnostic & Analysis Tools
• Knowledge of diagnostic and log analysis tools such as DiAnalyzer, CDA, CANalyzer and CANdela.
• Ability to analyze vehicle logs and technical data to support investigations.
• Experience in identifying technical anomalies and proposing solutions.
Systems Engineering
• Strong systems thinking approach.
• Ability to understand interactions between vehicle systems and subsystems.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders and facilitate decision-making.
• Autonomous, rigorous and well-organized.
• Team player with excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Fluent English required; additional European languages are a plus.
