Senior Interoperability Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Interoperability Architect based in United States. This senior-level role focuses on designing the standards and architecture that enable secure, reliable exchange of health information across complex healthcare ecosystems. You will shape interoperability specifications connecting legacy and modern electronic health record environments with federal agencies and community providers. The role combines deep expertise in HL7 and FHIR with standards analysis, data modeling, API design, and conformance strategy. You will help advance health information exchange initiatives, including national interoperability frameworks and standards-based interfaces. The position requires close collaboration with technical specialists, clinical informaticists, business stakeholders, and architecture teams. You will also lead discovery efforts, evaluate emerging standards, and translate complex interoperability requirements into practical technical solutions. This is an opportunity to influence large-scale healthcare interoperability programs while working within a structured SAFe Agile environment.
