Inpatient Pediatric Medical Coder

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Inpatient Pediatric Medical Coder based in United States. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity focused on accurate and compliant inpatient pediatric medical coding. You will review clinical documentation, diagnoses, procedures, and diagnostic results to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes. The role supports a broad range of pediatric hospital cases, including medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma, and maternal/newborn accounts. You will play an important role in maintaining coding accuracy, reimbursement integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely chart processing. The position combines independent coding responsibilities with collaboration across coding, clinical documentation, billing, IT, and facility teams. Success requires strong attention to detail, sound clinical coding judgment, and the ability to consistently meet quality and productivity expectations. This role is well suited to an experienced inpatient coder who values flexibility, accuracy, accountability, and continuous professional development.
