Automation Security Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Automation Security Specialist based in India. This role focuses on modernizing and securing automation workflows that support critical business processes. You will work primarily with Zapier to audit, rebuild, and optimize existing integrations for stronger security and scalability. A key focus will be replacing static API-key dependencies with more secure Custom Actions and API Call Actions. You will combine development skills with security-focused thinking to ensure workflows remain reliable, maintainable, and efficient. The position offers hands-on ownership of automation architecture, API integrations, webhooks, and data handling. You will collaborate with technology and security teams while working independently in a fully remote environment. It is well suited to an experienced automation specialist who enjoys solving technical problems and improving systems for long-term use.
