Operations Specialist

We're hiring an Operations Specialist to help us scale production. This is a jack of all trades role. You'll work across the saws, receiving, inventory, shipping, and the software team to keep metal moving and grow output every week. - Support daily production across our saw operations, jumping in wherever the floor needs you - Help scale throughput: find bottlenecks, fix them, and track the numbers - Take tasks off the ops team's plate, from inventory counts to staging orders to coordinating trucks - Keep receiving, inventory, and shipping organized and accurate - Work with our software team to improve how jobs flow from quote to shipped - Build and improve processes, checklists, and floor layouts as we grow - Use AI tools to automate the repetitive stuff and move faster - Own whatever comes up, and never say "that's not my job" You should be: - Urgent, organized, and fast - High agency: you handle big problems on your own and ask for help when you need it - Raw smart, bringing new ideas from wherever you come from - Always suggesting something new - Low ego and customer obsessed - Comfortable on a shop floor and wanting to work outside normal hours - Mission driven - Bonus: experience in manufacturing, machining, metal service centers, or logistics
