Technical Expert – Avionics Validation & DO-160G Qualification Testing

Lead and execute RTCA DO-160G qualification and compliance testing for avionics and airborne electronic equipment. The role combines deep expertise in environmental, EMC, electrical, and reliability validation with customer-facing technical leadership to support aerospace product certification, qualification, and regulatory compliance programs. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert for avionics validation activities, engage with aerospace customers, define validation strategies, execute qualification campaigns, troubleshoot failures, and support certification ready documentation. Key Responsibilities 1. Avionics Validation & Qualification Testing Test Planning & Compliance Interpret customer, regulatory, certification and test plan requirements and translate them into measurement protocols Hands-on Testing Execute and supervise testing related to: - EMI EMC and Environmental testsAnalysis & Reporting - Prepare test reports - Drive first-pass success through robust validation planning.2. Customer Engagement & Technical Solutioning Technical Consulting - Work directly with aerospace OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and certification agencies. - Support technical discussions during RFQs, proposals, and project kick-offs. - Develop Statements of Work (SoW), effort estimates, schedules, and quotations.3.
