Nazarbayev University Department of Student Services 1. Learning Needs and Training Architecture: - Together with system management, develops and updates the curator competency model and requirements for levels of preparation. - Assesses learning needs based on feedback, aggregated Case Log data, quality monitoring, and system changes. - Develops an annual training plan for curators, covering onboarding, mandatory modules, periodic knowledge refreshers, and advanced topics. - Defines learning outcomes for curators, assessment criteria, and program-completion requirements.2. Development of Learning and Methodological Materials and Programs: - Develops training programs for curators, modules, scenarios, cases, guides, instructions, checklists, presentations, and digital learning materials. - Together with management and subject-matter experts, ensures accuracy, currency, and alignment of content with internal documents. - Adapts materials for different curator categories, levels of preparation, and learning formats. - Ensures version control, a single repository, currency, and, where required, language accessibility of materials.3. Training Delivery and Professional Development of curators: - Organizes and delivers training sessions, workshops, simulations, and anonymized discussions of practical situations within the scope of SENU Curatorship System. - Coordinates internal and external trainers and experts, schedules, logistics, and participant communications situations within the scope of SENU Curatorship System. - Maintains records of participation, program completion, and knowledge and skills assessment results. - Supports onboarding of new curators and development of experience-sharing platforms and professional communities.4. Institutionalization of Experience and Process Standardization within the SENU Curatorship System: - Documents accumulated experience, successful solutions, and lessons learned and incorporates them into the methodological knowledge base. - Together with the management, contributes to the standardization of processes, operating procedures, algorithms, and templates and supports their implementation. - Reviews best practices of Kazakhstani and international universities and develops proposals for piloting, evaluating, and scaling them.5. Evaluation of Curator Training Effectiveness and Reporting: - Evaluates training effectiveness through feedback, knowledge assessment, and indicators of changes in curator practice. - Prepares analytical and final training reports and recommendations for improving programs and materials. Education requirements (level, field, licenses, professional certifications, etc.):  1) A higher education degree in Pedagogy, Psychology, Educational Management, Adult Learning, Learning and Development, Methodology, Instructional Design, or related field; 2) certification as a trainer, facilitator, instructional designer, or curriculum developer is an advantage. Work experience requirements:  1) At least 3 years of experience in curriculum development, corporate learning, student support, methodological work, or professional development; or 2) at least 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field. Knowledge: 1) principles of adult learning, instructional design, and blended-learning models; 2) foundations of curatorship, mentoring, student support, referral, and crisis response; 3) methods for learning-needs assessment, formulation of learning outcomes, and training-effectiveness evaluation; 4) approaches to process standardization, knowledge management, and identification and dissemination of best practices; 5) requirements for protecting personal data and confidential information in learning cases; 6) legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in education and internal University documents. 7) the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Status of Nazarbayev University, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and Nazarbayev Fund,” other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan in higher education, and internal University documents.  Skills: 1) development of training programs, modules, cases, guides, instructions, and digital learning materials; 2) delivery of training sessions, workshops, facilitated sessions, and practical simulations; 3) development of competency-assessment tools, tests, feedback forms, and performance indicators; 4) process documentation and standardization and maintenance of a methodological knowledge base; 5) project-based cooperation with experts and structural units. Competencies: 1) methodological rigor and focus on content quality; 2) understanding audience needs and ability to explain complex material clearly; 3) creativity, systems thinking, and continuous improvement; 4) communication, facilitation, and partnership; 5) ethics, confidentiality, and accountability. Language requirements:  Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English for training delivery, development of learning and methodological materials, and business communication.
