As a Mission
Analysis Engineer Intern at Astroscale France, you will be part of a dynamic team working on innovative projects that contribute to the sustainability and safety of the Earth's space environment.
Main Missions
- Support the analysis and assessment of RPOD (Rendezvous, Proximity Operations and Docking) Concepts of Operations, including mission feasibility and operational scenarios.
- Develop and maintain
interfaces between Mission Analysis and
System Engineering tools.
- Design, develop, and enhance internal python tools for mission analysis.
- Develop and execute unit and functional tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, validation reports, and project deliverables.
- Contribute to architectural design discussions and technical decision-making.
- Use configuration and version management tools (git) to support development activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
- Currently enrolled in the final year of engineering degree program, with a specialization in the aerospace field/computer science.
- Strong knowledge of software development, particularly in Python.
- Willingness and ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
- Innovative and proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in French and English.
Desired Skills
- Understanding of orbital mechanics.
- Proficiency in scripting languages.
- Knowledge of Pytest would be a plus.
- Knowledge of Linux.
- Experience in Mission
Analysis.
- Experience with configuration management (Git)
- Experience in space or robotics projects.
Duration and date: approx. 6 months, from March / Avril
