Supports characterization and validation testing activities by executing test procedures, collecting engineering data, performing data analysis, assisting in debugging and failure analysis. Applies validation methodologies and tools to support product qualification and reliability assessment.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support characterization test for engineering changes, firmware/ code, and engineering changes qualification - Execute tests with understanding of purpose and capture meaningful observations and failure context beyond pass/fail results  - Monitor running tests and identify abnormal behaviors or interruptions  - Analyze test results, perform failure analysis, and provide engineering recommendations  - Highlight anomalies and escalate potential quality concerns  - Support failure analysis and root-cause investigation with guidance from senior staff.  - Maintain and update test scripts and methodologies under guidance - Follow test methodologies, checklists, and quality standards - Track assigned tasks and report status to team members - Support factory or customer issue investigation as assigned  - Develop tools/script for test process improvement - Participate in training and continuously develop technical skills  REQUIRED : - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent  - Fresh graduate or ≤2 years relevant experience PREFERRED: - Basic programming knowledge (Python, C/C++, or scripting)  - Familiarity with Linux environment is an advantage  - Exposure to data analysis tools (Excel, MATLAB, Power BI, etc.)  - Interest in automation or AI-assisted engineering tools SKILLS - Willingness to learn and receive feedback  - Good attention to detail and execution discipline  - Basic analytical and troubleshooting ability  - Good communication and teamwork  - Organized and responsible in completing assigned tasks  WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
