Sr. Software Engineer - Backend

This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver scalable backend software within a complex, distributed technology environment. You will architect and develop reliable applications and services while considering performance, maintainability, security, and system-wide impact. The position combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership across large and complex projects involving multiple teams. You will work closely with Product, Design, Operations, Data Science, Business Analysts, and Technical Support to deliver robust solutions. A strong focus on testing, observability, safe coding practices, and production support will help ensure high-quality software throughout its lifecycle. You will also contribute to architecture decisions, mentor junior engineers, and help guide delivery across ambiguous and technically demanding workstreams.
