Our Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) business is looking for a senior consultant to join our team in the Tauranga office. In this role, you’ll help clients navigate various external reporting challenges. You’ll work across industries, collaborating with our other service lines to practically apply your IFRS and PBE IPSAS knowledge to deliver practical, client-oriented solutions.

The impact you'll make:
As a Senior Consultant you will apply your knowledge of accounting and advisory experience by, 
- Working as part of a team in providing practical and pragmatic accounting solutions for unique client challenges 
- Preparing IFRS and PBE IPSAS financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. 
- Working alongside clients to improve processes and performance within their finance functions,
- Working as part of a team to supporting clients through disruptive events (such as mergers and acquisitions or, divestments). 
- Assisting clients with sustainability and performance reporting. 
- Having the opportunity to genuinely help our clients, navigate the audit process with confidence.
- Bringing your point of view and energy to the team and provide coaching to junior members of the team.
Your expertise:
- Full membership or working towards CA (or equivalent) with 3 to 5 years  experience within an accounting environment or  from an industry role. 
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including knowledge of IFRS / PBE IPSAS. 
- Demonstrated expertise in compiling general purpose and special purpose financial statements, including detailed knowledge of New Zealand Accounting Standards and relevant regulatory frameworks. 
- Self-motivated, client-focused, and results-driven with a passion for continuous improvement. 
- Authentic, driven by excellence in what you do, and committed to delivering innovative solutions for our clients. 
- Solving problems for clients motivates you and you enjoy working in a dynamic, evolving environment. 
- Is analytical, curious, and willing to learn, always seeking to stay ahead of industry changes.
