Ngāti Hine Health Trust (NHHT) is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our nursing workforce. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a Kaupapa Māori environment delivering high-quality nursing care across a range of Mental Health, Addiction, Hauora and community settings while supporting positive health and wellbeing outcomes for tangata whai ora, whānau and communities. About the Role As a Clinical Nurse (Registered Nurse), you will provide safe, effective and culturally responsive nursing care across Ngāti Hine Health Trust services. You will be involved in: - Clinical assessment and ongoing review of tangata whai ora - Care planning and coordination - Medication management and monitoring - Risk assessment and crisis intervention - Health promotion and recovery-focused support - Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams - Supporting positive outcomes for whānau and communities This role offers variety and flexibility, with opportunities to work across a range of NHHT services, programmes and locations to meet organisational and community needs. Travel throughout Te Tai Tokerau may be required. What You'll Bring Essential - Current Nursing Council of New Zealand registration as a Registered Nurse - Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) - Experience within Mental Health and/or Addiction Services - Experience undertaking clinical assessments and risk assessments - Experience in medication administration and monitoring - Current unrestricted Full New Zealand Driver Licence - Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally safe practice - Strong communication, relationship management and clinical decision-making skills Desirable - Experience within Mental Health, Addiction, Primary Care, Community Health or Residential Services - Experience working within a Kaupapa Māori environment - Postgraduate study in Mental Health, Addictions, Māori Health or Nursing - Training in CBT, DBT, ACT or Motivational Interviewing - Knowledge of Māori health frameworks including Te Whare Tapa Whā, Te Wheke, Meihana Model or Te Pae Mahutonga - Ability to communicate in Te Reo Māori Why Join NHHT?
