QA Automation Engineer — Mid / Senior

Position Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer: 3–5 Years Senior QA Automation Engineer: 5–8 Years Employment Type: Full-time Work Arrangement: On-site / Hybrid / Client Deployment Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh   Key Responsibilities - Design and implement automated testing strategies. - Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks. - Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing. - Automate web applications using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or equivalent. - Perform API testing using Postman or equivalent tools. - Validate application and transaction data using SQL. - Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios. - Identify, document and track defects. - Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. - Prepare test reports and quality metrics. - Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and DevOps teams.Enterprise Testing Exposure Depending on the engagement, candidates may work on: - Digital banking platforms - Financial transactions - Payment APIs - Mobile/web applications - Telecom platforms - Insurance systems - Enterprise workflows - Integration platforms - High-volume transaction systemsSenior-Level Expectations - Design QA automation strategy and framework architecture. - Establish automation standards and best practices. - Review automation code. - Mentor QA engineers. - Support test estimation and planning. - Lead complex integration and regression testing. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in CSE, Software Engineering, IT or related field. - 3–8 years of relevant QA/testing experience. - Strong automation testing experience. - Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or equivalent. - API testing experience. - Good SQL knowledge. - Experience with Java, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript. - Agile/Scrum and Jira experience.Preferred Skills JMeter | Performance Testing | BDD | Postman | CI/CD | Mobile Testing | Security Testing | Database Testing Experience in banking, fintech, telecom, insurance or enterprise applications will be highly valued.
