About the role
Customer SuccessCustomer Support
Microbyte is looking for a Business Solutions Analyst to help clients get real value from AI. Not someone who ticks boxes on a technical checklist, but someone who gets a real kick out of sitting with a client, working out what's really going on, and shaping a solution that just works. Someone who has been watching the AI wave with real excitement and wants to join.
This isn't a traditional technical role. We care less about where you learned your skills than about how you think. Whether your background is in business, consultancy, customer service or tech, what matters is that you listen, you ask the right questions, and you care about the result. You'll be comfortable using modern AI tools to build and test ideas quickly, but you take the time to understand the problem before jumping to the answer. Most importantly, you believe technology should make people's working lives better. We build systems that empower the people who use them, not systems designed to replace them.
- Are you the kind of person who keeps asking “why?” until you find the real problem?
- When a client says “we don't want to hire anyone else, we need more out of the team we've got”, would you naturally play it back as “so you want to do more with less”?
- Do you hear a business problem and think “that's basically a rating system like Uber” or “a booking calendar like Airbnb's”?
- Have you been looking for a role where curiosity and ideas matter more than years of experience?
You'll work across a genuinely interesting mix: our self-build AI platform, internal process improvements, and real projects for real businesses. You'll be joining as we expand our AI capability, with support to grow quickly, real influence over how it takes shape, and the freedom to bring your own ideas to the table. At Microbyte, we pride ourselves on providing cutting-edge technologies with a fast-paced team of forward thinkers. If you see yourself being involved in an ever-growing MSP with friendly, collaborative offices in the UK, UAE and US, then this could be the role you're looking for.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Run discovery sessions with clients to understand how their business works and where it's struggling
- Translate business challenges into clear requirements and solution designs
- Build, configure and refine solutions on our AI platform, using AI tools to move quickly
- Use familiar app patterns to help clients picture what's possible
- Present ideas back to clients in plain English and adapt based on their feedback
- Work with our technical team on anything that needs deeper integration
- Spot opportunities to improve how our own teams work using AI
- Handle client information responsibly, with security and data protection in mind
- Write clear documentation so clients and colleagues can pick up your work easily
- Keep learning. The tools change monthly and we want someone who enjoys that
Required Experience / Skills
- Strong listening and questioning skills, with the ability to sum up a problem in a sentence
- A clear communicator, comfortable in front of clients and able to explain ideas to non-technical people
- Genuine enthusiasm for technology and AI, and how businesses can put it to work
- Some hands-on building experience, whether coding, vibe coding, no-code tools, automations or personal AI projects
- A problem-solver's mindset, curious about how businesses work and how technology can make them better
- A logical thinker who can break a process down into clear steps
- Honest about what you know and what you don't, and quick to close the gap
Desirable
- Background in business analysis, consultancy, customer success, pre-sales or IT services
- Experience with AI build tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Replit or Lovable
- A basic understanding of APIs, data and how systems connect
- Experience in an MSP or IT services environment
