Growth Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE This role helps an early-stage AI company build its network and tell its story across the frontier AI ecosystem. You will shape recruiting, culture, and community while working across teams to help attract talent and build connections. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Communicate the company's vision through clear, engaging storytelling. - Find and connect with candidates, AI researchers and engineers, and other people in relevant technical communities. - Help define company culture and values, screen candidates, and develop onboarding for new hires. - Own recruiting processes with the Chief of Staff, including improving systems, tools, and automated workflows. - Collaborate on community events, industry representation, and content creation. - Work with go-to-market teams to identify and establish pathways to high-priority contacts. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Three to eight years of relevant experience, including experience in an early-stage startup. - Experience managing end-to-end recruiting and building recruiting operations, tools, and workflows. - Strong skills in connecting with people in technical communities, such as through recruiting, go-to-market, or ecosystem building. - Ability to understand and clearly explain technical products related to frontier AI agents and training data. - Experience defining culture and values, developing onboarding, creating marketing or community content, and hosting events. - Connections in reinforcement learning research or engineering, or broader startup communities, are valuable. - A portfolio of professional writing and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Annual salary: $100,000 to $150,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in San Francisco, California, United States.
