We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at our Louisville, United States location (7924 Fegenbush Ln). In this pivotal role, you will drive operational excellence, foster a collaborative team environment, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As an Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining our commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, while maintaining attention to detail and organizational excellence
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve performance standards and foster a supportive, inclusive work environment
- Manage shifts efficiently to ensure timely order preparation, delivery, and service while adapting to changing priorities
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Manage cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and analyze financial data to support store performance
- Assist in inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control initiatives to optimize store resources
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene standards, and company policies while promoting a culture of transparency
- Participate in hands-on tasks such as answering phones, taking orders, and food preparation to support team operations
- Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance store performance and operational efficiency
- Assist the Store Manager in implementing company policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives
- Make decisive decisions under pressure while maintaining resilience and a positive attitude
- Support team onboarding, training, and performance management to build a skilled and motivated workforce
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop team members in a collaborative manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in math and financial management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor and empathetic approach
- Demonstrated proficiency in cash handling and basic financial management
- Comprehensive knowledge of store operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Conflict resolution and decision-making skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Experience running shifts in a retail or food service setting (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of performance management and employee development practices (preferred)
