We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team at our Jeffersontown location (3830 Ruckriegal Pkwy Suite 101). In this role, you'll play a key part in driving operational excellence and creating a positive, customer-focused environment. As Assistant Manager, you'll support the management team in overseeing daily store operations while fostering a collaborative and motivated workplace where both team members and customers thrive. - Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent delivery of excellent customer service - Lead, motivate, and support team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment - Run shifts effectively, making decisive, real-time decisions to optimize performance and address challenges - Manage financial transactions with accuracy and maintain proper cash handling procedures - Engage with customers professionally and empathetically, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction - Assist in implementing and communicating company policies, procedures, and standards across the team - Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment that reflects company standards - Collaborate with the management team to establish and achieve store goals and drive continuous improvement - Participate in employee training, development, and onboarding initiatives to build a skilled team - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards, conducting regular audits and reviews - Manage inventory levels and coordinate stock ordering to maintain optimal supply levels - Analyze performance metrics and provide feedback to support team development and accountability - Resolve conflicts and handle challenging situations with professionalism and transparency - Proven experience in retail or food service management, with a demonstrated track record of successfully running shifts and leading operations - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a diverse team effectively - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction - Solid mathematical aptitude and demonstrated money management abilities, including cash handling and financial accuracy - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions in fast-paced environments - Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing multiple responsibilities simultaneously - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly to diverse audiences - Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and quality - Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining compliance and quality standards - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed - Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods - Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills - Experience with inventory management and stock coordination - Ability to analyze performance data and use insights to drive improvements - Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) What are we looking for?
