Join our collaborative team and make a meaningful impact on California businesses.    The Role  We're seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Consultant with 2-5 years of industry experience to join our growing team in our Pleasanton, CA office. This role balances experience implementing EHS programs across a wide variety of industries while developing project management expertise. You'll manage EHS consulting projects, solve complex EHS compliance issues and serve as a mentor to junior specialists.    What You'll Do  - Manage EHS projects for our clients providing exceptional client service while maintaining project schedules and budgets.  - Prepare reports for our clients to follow guidance and regulations designed by EPA, DTSC, local CUPAs, Fire departments, Water boards and other federal, state and local government agencies  - Assist with permitting requirements and documentation (air quality, wastewater, Tiered Permitting, storm water, etc.)  - Conducting training for employees of client companies  - Conducting monitoring (air monitoring, soil sampling, etc.)  - Conducting compliance audits  - Providing ongoing compliance support to clients  - Providing various other support activities to clients to assist with their compliance efforts    What You Bring  - 2-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or related industry  - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (Master's degree a plus)  - The ability to work independently and lead a project team  - A high attention to detail and strong project management skills  - A personable demeanor and professional communication skills, both verbal and written  - Comfortable conducting trainings to groups of 10-40 people (10% of the job)  - Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time  - Computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel    Why Work With Us  - Opportunity to advance your environmental career in a role that balances strong technical knowledge with project management development  - Hybrid work arrangement available after initial onboarding period  - Collegial, supportive team environment that values innovation and excellence  - Comprehensive benefits including Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401K plan (Roth and Non-Roth options) with generous company match & HSA  - Make meaningful contributions that directly impact California companies and help their employees work safely  - Professional development opportunities and support for continued education and certifications  CDMS is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
