What You'll Do As a Radiation Therapist, you will be an integral member of the oncology care team, responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate radiation therapy treatments. Key Responsibilities - Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely - Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and expectations - Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and patients for therapy sessions - Verify treatment parameters and maintain accurate treatment documentation - Perform weekly electronic chart reviews and treatment record audits - Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects and skin reactions - Conduct tumor localization using image-guided and surface-guided technologies - Schedule patient treatments and coordinate daily workflow - Manage treatment supplies and maintain a clean, organized treatment environment - Perform daily quality assurance and safety checks on treatment equipment, including the TrueBeam Linear Accelerator and CT scanner - Support department quality and safety initiatives while maintaining compliance with established protocols What We're Looking For Required Qualifications - ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy - Current Utah Radiation Therapist License - Current BLS Certification - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Commitment to patient-centered care and treatment excellence Preferred Qualifications - 2-3 years of Radiation Therapy experience (preferred, not required) - Experience with Varian TrueBeam technology - Experience using Aria Record & Verify systems - CT Simulation experience - Familiarity with advanced treatment modalities including IMRT, SRS, and SBRT Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Successful candidates will demonstrate: - Exceptional attention to detail and treatment accuracy - Ability to understand and implement radiation treatment plans - Knowledge of quality assurance and verification procedures - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages - Commitment to departmental policies, procedures, and patient safety standards - Understanding of accurate treatment documentation and billing practices Why Revere Health?
