Driving Instructor

A Driving Instructor at Capabilities works with individuals with and without disabilities age 16+ to help them learn the skills necessary to get their learner’s permit and/or driver’s license. When they are ready to test, you accompany them to the testing site to support them and celebrate their achievements. Imagine this: The door to the BMV opens and a newly licensed driver that you helped runs toward you with a big smile on their face… they passed! You just helped open a door to a world of new opportunities for them.
