Qumulo's cloud data platform manages exabytes of the world's most demanding data, unifying files, objects, and every workload across edge, core, and cloud. We're headquartered in Seattle and are growing our Cork team. About the position: As our first Pricing and Deal Desk Manager in Cork, you'll be critical to supporting complex deal structuring and pricing excellence across EMEA and APAC. You'll sit at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Operations, and become a trusted partner that guides sales strategy, pricing decisions, and overall execution of the deal lifecycle. In this role you'll be Finance's final sign-off on deals across EMEA and APAC – the last set of eyes before a quote reaches a customer. You'll work live with sellers to shape complex deals and use what you learn to make our pricing simpler and smarter. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with real authority, and a lot of room to grow as the function does - including the future opportunity to build and lead a local team. What you'll do: - Review, shape, and approve deals, from standard renewals to multi-year agreements, consumption deals with credits, and enterprise licence agreements - Catch what others miss: a capacity change that's really a down-sell, a payment structure that quietly erodes return, a channel discount that never made it into the system - Do the maths in real time: price cloud credits, model annual-payment structures, and work margin through distributor and reseller layers - Say no when the economics don't work – and come back with a structure that does. Sellers should see you as the person who helps them close, not the person who blocks them - Join forecast and deal reviews with EMEA and APAC sales leadership - Use deal and renewal data to test our discount guidelines and regional pricing, and recommend where they should move - Fix what's broken: approval paths, documentation, and data quality across renewals and forecasting - Work from our Cork office three days a week, with regular late-afternoon calls with Seattle – more around quarter end What you'll bring: - 4+ years in deal desk, pricing, or commercial finance at a software, SaaS, or infrastructure company - A degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience - A track record of structuring non-standard deals yourself, not just checking them against a price list - Hands-on experience with at least two of: consumption or usage-based pricing and credits; multi-year, ramped, or enterprise licence agreements; multi-tier channel deals; hardware and software bundles - Strong Excel modelling, and comfort with margin, cash-flow, and ARR/NRR concepts - Salesforce (and ideally CPQ) experience - The confidence to hold a position with senior sellers and executives, and the judgement to know when to flex - Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for analysis and documentation - Bonus points for: Contract review experience, additional language skills, experience with cloud marketplace or infrastructure-inclusive deal structures, and/or pricing through distributor or reseller channels The annual pay range for the role is EUR €80,000 - €100,000 plus benefits and pre-IPO stock options. Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience, and skills.
