Aerospace Composites Engineer - Team Lead

Location: Stans, Switzerland Model: Fully Onsite Scope: Full Time - Employed Description: Lead the development of advanced composite structures for aerospace applications, overseeing design, structural analysis, certification, and product development activities. This role provides technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-performance composite solutions are delivered in compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements while supporting innovation, manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities - Lead the development of composite structures from requirements definition through certification and in-service support. - Oversee the design, structural analysis, and evaluation of composite components, ensuring compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements. - Work closely with design, manufacturing, materials, testing, certification, and program teams to deliver composite structure solutions. - Provide technical leadership for new development, modification, and continuous improvement projects. - Track project schedules, budgets, risks, and technical progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders. - Support the evaluation and implementation of new materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods. - Coordinate technical activities with suppliers and external partners.
