Senior Battery Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

- Lead the development, verification and integration of the UAV Battery System. - Lead the communication, provide inputs and accept the deliverables of the supplier. - Manage requirements and traceability from high levels to the Battery System and Components levels. - Develop the Battery System design- and lifecycle-related documentation. - Translate the needs of customers and other stakeholders into the Battery System requirements. - Prepare and conduct the design reviews for the Battery System design. - Being responsible for the validation and verification of the requirements and generating compliance evidence for the certification by the aviation authority. - Work within a scaled agile environment to support the Product Owner. - Engineering degree, ideally in aerospace or electrical engineering. - 5+ years of professional experience as a systems engineer in Battery System development in the aviation or drone industry. - Strong knowledge of the standard specifications and performance standards for the Battery Systems in airborne applications such as ASTM F3005, RTCA DO-311. - Good knowledge of the electrical, mechanical, cell technology and software aspects of the Battery design. - Ideally, you are experienced in technical leadership of development projects. - Experienced with drone systems and UAVCAN/DroneCAN. - Competent in systems engineering according to ARP4754A or equivalent. - Proficiency in development assurance and qualification standards such as RTCA DO-160, DO-254, DO-178 is a plus. - You thrive in collaborative environments and value collective success. - You approach challenges with a positive mindset and a proactive attitude. - You believe technology has the power to improve society and drive positive change for the future. - A free parking space right at the office – for the days you come in. - Enjoy attractive employee discounts with corporate benefits on a variety of products and services. - Join the fun at our employee events and team-building activities. - Many of our roles offer remote work options and flexible hours to balance your life and work. - Stay fit with access to EGYM Wellpass  – your wellbeing is a priority. - On two wheels to work?
