Moulding Technician

Our client, a precision-driven manufacturer operating in a regulated environment, is currently seeking an experienced Moulding Technician to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with a strong background in injection moulding and a passion for quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You will be part of a high-performing team operating state-of-the-art moulding and automation equipment to produce components that meet the highest industry standards. The successful candidate will bring both technical expertise and a commitment to safety, collaboration, and performance excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Production Operations - Set up, operate, and monitor injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment. - Perform in-process quality checks and adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, cycle times) to ensure consistent output. - Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance to reduce downtime. - Troubleshoot production and machine-related issues efficiently. Quality & Compliance - Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, cosmetic appearance, and material performance. - Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. - Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for any product non-conformances. - Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality protocols. Safety & Maintenance - Adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. - Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized at all times. - Carry out preventive maintenance and report any equipment issues promptly. Collaboration & Communication - Work closely with production supervisors, quality personnel, and maintenance teams to meet daily output targets. - Communicate clearly on production status, challenges, and improvement opportunities. - Take part in continuous improvement, lean initiatives, and technical training.
