This role provides hands-on experience in construction safety practices, compliance, and field operations. The intern will gain exposure to real-world jobsite conditions while contributing to meaningful safety initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Assist with daily jobsite safety inspections and audits - Support implementation of company safety programs and policies - Help ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards - Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and trainings - Observe and document jobsite conditions, identifying potential hazards - Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and documentation - Track and organize safety data, logs, and compliance records - Partner with field teams to reinforce safe work practices - Contribute to continuous improvement of safety procedures Position Qualifications - Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field - Strong interest in construction safety and field operations - Basic understanding of OSHA standards (preferred) - Excellent attention to detail and observational skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, active construction environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Physical Requirements - Ability to walk jobsites, climb stairs/ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Must be able to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety vest, boots, etc.)
