Lynx Analytics is a specialist AI services firm operating at the intersection of data, analytics, and life sciences. We work with leading pharma, biotech, and medtech organisations to design and deliver high-impact solutions — from AI-driven commercial analytics to pharmacovigilance and patient insights. Our work is hands-on, deeply technical, and built around real client outcomes. Our clients include some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies — spanning oncology, commercial analytics, and beyond. We are a lean, expert team and we are growing, and are building out our commercial function to match. We are hiring a Sales Manager to help drive Lynx's commercial growth in life sciences. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role: you will carry your own pipeline and revenue targets, run complex sales cycles end-to-end, and work closely with our commercial leadership to strengthen the systems and account plans behind our growth. You will bring structure and consistency to day-to-day selling — prospecting, qualifying, proposing, and closing — while helping to build out the relationships, market coverage, and pipeline discipline that our commercial function needs as it scales. If you enjoy owning a number, running a disciplined sales process, and being part of building a commercial team from an early stage, this is that role. What You'll Do - Own and deliver on revenue targets across target markets and net-new business - Proactively prospect and generate new leads — cold outreach, targeted research, and networking to build a pipeline of new logos - Manage the full sales cycle — from first outreach and qualification through to proposal, negotiation, and close - Build and maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline, with accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene - Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within accounts you win, in partnership with delivery - Work with delivery and leadership teams to shape proposals, pricing, and solution positioning for each opportunity - Develop and maintain relationships with client stakeholders across pharma, biotech, and medtech prospects - Support go-to-market execution — messaging, service packaging, and campaign follow-up — in partnership with leadership - Represent Lynx at client meetings, industry conferences, and key forums - Contribute to building out the commercial team and playbook as the function scales Who We're Looking For - You have a track record of winning and growing consulting or solutions-based business in life sciences — and you know how to run a disciplined sales process where the deals are complex, the buyers are senior, and the relationship matters as much as the proposal. - 5–8+ years in commercial roles, with a track record of carrying and hitting a quota - Proven ability to self-generate pipeline — comfortable with cold outreach, prospecting, and turning cold contacts into qualified conversations, not just working inbound leads - Credibility in life sciences — whether from the commercial, data, digital, or R&D side - Experience selling analytics, AI, or professional services engagements — where the value is in expertise and outcomes, not just the product - Comfortable operating with some ambiguity, and skilled at bringing structure and discipline to a sales process - A strong operator who can translate a territory or market plan into consistent day-to-day execution - Confident engaging director- and VP-level stakeholders, with the presence to build trust as a peer - Motivated by being part of building a commercial function from an early stage Location We are looking for candidates based on the East Coast of the United States. Preference is for the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania), given the concentration of life sciences clients and partners in the region. The role involves regular client travel.
