JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team in Fargo, ND as a PLC Engineer. You will be part of a group of engineers dedicated to high-quality work, value-add solutions, skill development, and career growth. Employees working in Fargo, ND have a short commute from West Fargo, Moorhead, Dilworth, and Horace and will enjoy professional growth and community engagement through our regional presence in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota.
As a PLC Engineer, you will:
- Provide setup and operation support for all automated manufacturing systems and associated equipment
- Program Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Complete basic repair and maintenance on electrical equipment
- Use robotics knowledge to ensure proper programming and function
- Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners
- Contribute to projects that impact communities in West Fargo, Moorhead, Dilworth, Horace and the greater Fargo metro area
- Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Basic robotics knowledge required
- The ability to read and interpret electrical, instrument, and control diagrams required
- A minimum of one year of professional experience is required; for this role, co-ops and internships can be considered as professional experience
- Previous experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming required
- Experience in electronic repair and maintenance is a plus
- Capable of working independently and as a team member
- Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
- Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Desire to work on a variety of projects
ESTIMATED PAY RANGE
Engineer I: $40.45–$46.52/hour
Engineer II: $44.14–$50.76/hour
Engineer III: $47.83–$55.00/hour
Senior Engineer: $51.51–$59.24/hour
Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectations. Paid overtime may be available.
