Finance & Risks Manager BeNeSca

Every day, we make life better for pets, their owners and the veterinary teams who care for them.   As Finance & Risks Manager BeNeSca, you’ll have a broad responsibility across finance, business performance, risk and people: 1. Financial Management - Oversee all financial procedures, accounting processes, controls and financial systems across BeNeSca. - Ensure compliance with Group policies and finance best practices. - Coordinate finance activities with local management and Group Finance.2. Financial Reporting - Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, statutory accounts, tax declarations, management accounts, and balance sheets. - Coordinate external audits and statutory requirements. - Provide local and Group reporting, including quarterly business reviews and performance analysis.3. Business Performance Management - Support the achievement of sales, gross margin and profitability targets. - Provide management with insightful analyses on sales, margins, operating expenses and business performance. - Identify cost optimisation opportunities and support pricing and profitability decisions.4. Leadership & Team Management - Lead, develop and coach the small finance team in Belgium. - Ensure succession planning, capability development and performance management. - Establish and monitor finance KPIs.5. Budgeting & Strategic Support - Lead the annual budget and forecasting processes. - Provide financial guidance to support strategic decision-making. - Challenge and evaluate commercial and operational initiatives to maximise value creation.6. Data & Analytics - Ensure accurate financial and commercial data management. - Deliver actionable insights based on business intelligence and reporting tools. - Support commercial policies through discount calculations, customer analyses and profitability assessments.7. Risk, Compliance & Internal Control - Promote a strong finance and risk culture throughout the BeNeSca organisation. - Ensure compliance with Group policies and applicable regulations (internal controls, GDPR, anti-corruption, fraud prevention, ethics, etc.). - Lead audit remediation plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
