Software Test Specialist

Championing a collaborative, supportive and flexible work environment empowers our colleagues to reach their full potential. - Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to define comprehensive test strategies and test scenarios. - Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution schedules. - Estimate testing effort, identify risks, and provide mitigation recommendations. - Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-focused feedback. - Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support and Regression Testing - Execute manual and automated test cases. - Validate business processes, interfaces, APIs, and data flows. - Ensure testing activities are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards - Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Operations teams. - Provide regular status updates and testing progress reports. - Participate in project planning, sprint ceremonies, and release activities - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. - ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent. - Advanced testing certifications are desirable Technical Skills Core Testing Skills - Test Planning and Test Strategy - Test Case Design Techniques - Functional Testing - Integration Testing - Regression Testing - API Testing - End-to-End Testing - Defect Management - Risk-Based Testing - UAT SupportTools - JIRA - Azure DevOps - HP ALM / Quality Center - TestRail - Postman - SoapUI - Jenkins - Git - ConfluenceAutomation (Desirable) - Selenium - Playwright - Cypress - Java - Python - C# - REST AssuredDatabase & Technical Skills - SQL Querying - Data Validation - Log Analysis - API Validation - Microservices TestingDomain Knowledge (Preferred) - Banking and Financial Services - Wealth Management Platforms - Avaloq Core Banking - Payments and Transaction Processing - Regulatory and Compliance Testing - Digital Banking Solutions
