Surrounded by sparkling lagoons and idyllic beaches, it is an island like no other: a hive of activity, a place to be seen. Complemented by exceptional scuba diving and other water sports, the resort embraces the seafarer lifestyle with a glamorous twist. We are seeking a friendly, proactive, and service-oriented Island host to join our guest service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless, memorable, and personalized experience throughout their stay. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs, and ensuring smooth communication between guests and various resort departments. - To ensure that the Reception, Guest relations and other related areas are managed efficiently according to the established concept statement, providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times as per SOP. - To ensure rooms are allocated as per the arrival list. - Arrange and organize island tour, activities, guests itinerary. - Liaise closely with Reservations and Reception on arrival times, unexpected arrival and departure, extension of stays and late check-outs and change in meal plan basis and flight details.  - Monitor closely on early arrivals, late departures and special excursion arrangements. - Liaise with Housekeeping on early check-outs, late arrivals, day use rooms and special guest request. - Update, all out of Order and out of service rooms on daily basis. - Liaise with F & B on early meals, late meals, complimentary meals and special request. (E.g., B’days, H/M, repeaters dinner etc.) - To be present at all times in the area of responsibility of Guest Service department especially during busy periods. - To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all resort related services and products and upsell alternatives. - To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to Head of department if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests. - To establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship. - Certificate in Hospitality or Tourism Management or similar education with minimum O Levels Degree - Minimum 2 years' work experience as Island Host or Guest Relation Officer in luxury hotels and resorts - Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Opera, Micros - Fluent in English, oral and verbal.  - Leadership, Motivation and Training Skills - Guest Oriented and Reliable  - Ability to focus attention on guests, calm and courteous at all times. - Exceptionally much detail oriented - Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and demanding environtment - Flexible in working hours, hands on and patient. - Strong physical ability
