We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Waiter to join our team in Sheffield, United Kingdom. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience through attentive, friendly, and efficient service. You will be the face of our establishment, delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality. - Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them at appropriate tables - Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings - Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff - Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring orders are correct and presented attractively - Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns - Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions securely - Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next service - Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations - Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow - Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols - Accommodate special requests and dietary requirements with professionalism and care - Manage multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining service quality - Assist with opening and closing duties as required - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills - Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays - Time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively - Teamwork and collaboration mindset - Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette - Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure - Previous experience as a waiter or in a food service role (preferred) - Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting (preferred) - Familiarity with POS systems (preferred) - Knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and dietary requirements (preferred) - Cash handling experience (preferred) All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
