Pindara Private Hospital is seeking a reliable and organised Supply Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This is an important role supporting the day-to-day operation of the hospital by ensuring medical, clinical and general supplies are received, stored and distributed efficiently. Working as part of our hospital support services team, you will be responsible for maintaining an efficient stores and supply function across the hospital. Key responsibilities include: - Receiving, checking and appropriately storing deliveries - Picking and distributing stock and supplies to hospital departments - Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels - Monitoring stock usage and identifying replenishment requirements - Conducting regular stocktakes and inventory checks - Ensuring stock is stored safely and in accordance with hospital requirements - Processing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers as required - Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient stores area - Supporting the hospital team with ad-hoc stores and supply requirements - Following relevant workplace health and safety, infection control and hospital proceduresAbout You We are looking for someone who is dependable, organised and takes pride in providing a high level of service. You will also ideally have: - Previous experience in stores, warehousing, inventory or supply chain operations - Excellent organisational and time-management skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Good computer and administrative skills - The ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Good communication and customer service skills - A proactive approach and willingness to assist wherever required - The ability to safely undertake manual handling and physical aspects of the role - Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment will be highly regarded, but is not essentialWhat’s in it for You?
