Clara is the leading spend management platform in Latin America. More than 40,000 businesses run on our corporate cards, bill pay, financing and B2B payments, and in 2025 the Financial Times named Clara the fastest-growing company in Latin America. We're ~400 people, backed by Kaszek, monashees, Coatue, DST Global, ICONIQ, General Catalyst and Goldman Sachs, among others.
What you'll do
We're looking for a Product Lead, Cards Benefits (Global, Black Card) to own the global product strategy and P&L for Clara’s premium corporate card portfolio, starting with the Black Card. In this role, you will define what premium corporate cards mean for Clara's business customers across Latin America—shaping the benefits stack, unlocking exclusive experiences, and creating a strong competitive differentiator. You will manage card networks, benefit providers, and cross-functional teams to build and scale a compelling benefits experience while driving end-to-end commercial outcomes.
- Own the full global P&L for Clara's Black Card product line, managing revenue, benefit costs, pricing, packaging, and contribution margin in close partnership with Finance and Commercial leadership.
- Define and execute the global benefits strategy across travel, lounge access, insurance, concierge, and lifestyle categories, benchmarking against top-tier corporate and consumer card programs.
- Lead commercial negotiations and build product partnerships with external benefit providers, while collaborating directly with Mastercard on World Elite benefit features and co-marketing initiatives.
- Drive the rollout of Black Card benefits across core Latin American markets (Mexico, Colombia, Brazil), ensuring local relevance while maintaining an operationally scalable infrastructure.
- Conduct continuous customer discovery with high-value accounts to validate benefit adoption, usage, and retention metrics.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, prototyping, and competitive analysis, maintaining technical involvement via Github to read PRs and track shipped features.
- Analyze product performance, activation metrics, and cohort behavior independently using SQL and Metabase.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Must haves
- Working proficiency in English and Spanish.
- 5+ years in product management, with at least 2–3 years owning a card product, rewards program, or premium card benefits portfolio within fintech or banking.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership or strong commercial management experience, including revenue responsibility, pricing strategy, and unit economics.
- Deep knowledge of corporate or premium card benefit structures, card network programs (e.g., Mastercard World Elite or Visa Infinite), and partner ecosystem economics.
- Technical fluency and comfort working with Github (reading diffs, following PRs) and using AI coding tools to prototype and validate ideas.
- Strong data literacy with hands-on experience running queries in SQL and evaluating product performance via dashboards like Metabase.
- Experience or interest in AI tools to automate workflows, accelerate discovery, and scale product execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven success aligning engineering, finance, legal, and commercial partners through clear documentation.
- Adaptability to fast-changing environments, bringing a high-agency builder mindset.
Nice to haves
- Basic proficiency in Portuguese or a desire to learn it.
- Hands-on experience negotiating complex provider contracts across multiple Latin American markets.
- Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets, SQL, or Python to build financial and user models.
- A good sense of humor.
Why Clara
- A high talent-density team driven to make an impact in Latin America — low ego, high ownership.
- Competitive salary and stock options (ESOP) from day one.
- An annual learning budget and accelerated development paths.
- English is our working language, with Spanish and Portuguese every day.
How we work
- Clarity — Open and direct communication: we say what we mean and give context where it matters.
- Simplicity — If it can be simpler, it should be.
- Ownership — We own everything we do, end to end. When something needs to happen, we don't wait.
- Pride — We hold ourselves to a high standard, and it shows in what we deliver.
- ABC (Always Be Changing) — We adapt fast, embrace change, and keep learning.
- Inclusivity — Diverse ideas, stories and perspectives build a better Clara.
Hybrid at Clara
Claridians split their time between the office, customers and home. We don't set a minimum number of office days for most roles, but we expect you to spend time there naturally, and most days during your ramp-up or when your leader asks.
If you meet the must-haves, apply — the nice-to-haves are a bonus, not a requirement.
