About the role
HubSpotExcelCRMSpanishSQLB2B SalesLead GenerationPortuguese
Clara is the leading spend management platform in Latin America. More than 40,000 businesses run on our corporate cards, bill pay, financing and B2B payments, and in 2025 the Financial Times named Clara the fastest-growing company in Latin America. We're ~400 people, backed by Kaszek, monashees, Coatue, DST Global, ICONIQ, General Catalyst and Goldman Sachs, among others.
What you'll do
Colombia's largest companies still run spend on bank cards, spreadsheets and manual approvals. As Clara's Enterprise Account Executive in Cali, you'll sell to the finance leaders who want to fix that, and you'll own the long, multi-stakeholder cycles that come with large organizations: multi-entity structures, controls, procurement and compliance.
In this role, you will:
- Drive new business: own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts in Colombia, from the first strategic conversation to contract signature, with rigorous forecasting and pipeline hygiene in HubSpot.
- Partner with the C-suite: lead high-stakes conversations with CFOs, treasurers and senior finance leaders, translating complex financial structures into a clear value proposition and positioning Clara as a strategic partner rather than a vendor.
- Run multi-stakeholder cycles: navigate procurement, legal, risk and IT reviews inside large organizations and keep momentum at every stage of a long buying process.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: work with Risk, Product, Operations and Legal to shape the solution each account needs, and to deliver it after signature.
- Cross-sell: grow the value of every account by bringing more of Clara's corporate products into your clients' financial operations.
Who you are
Must haves
- Around 5 years of quota-carrying enterprise or mid-market sales, or a steeper record of beating targets in less time.
- Experience selling to senior finance stakeholders (CFOs, treasurers, controllers), and comfort leading conversations about financial products, risk and controls.
- Track record of exceeding goals on new customers, TPV and credit lines.
- Meticulous pipeline management in a CRM such as HubSpot.
- Working proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Outstanding communication, research and deal-structuring skills.
Nice to haves
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
- Hands-on with a modern prospecting stack (for example HubSpot, Apollo, Sales Navigator); we'll teach you the rest.
- Familiarity with structured qualification methods such as BANT, and with KPIs like meetings per week and activity per deal.
- Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets or SQL to build business cases.
- Background in fintech, banking, payments or corporate cards.
- You have used AI or automation to research accounts, personalise outreach or cut CRM admin, and can show us how.
What success looks like
- In your first 90 days: a full pipeline built on your own research and segmentation.
- By 12 months: consistently at or above target on new customers, TPV and credit lines.
Build your sales career at Clara
At Clara, we don't just offer a sales job—we provide an environment designed for high performance, long-term wealth, and continuous career growth.
How you'll earn: base salary plus uncapped commission and equity from day one. Your variable is tied directly to the accounts you close, and top-performing AEs consistently earn more than their managers.
What we leave behind
If you have been in sales long enough, you know the industry's bad habits. We actively reject them:
- No "Rolodex" hiring: We don't hire just for connections. We value professionals who actually care to learn our product, solve real customer problems, and know how to close.
- No "Churn and Burn": We reject the revolving door culture. When we hire you, we invest in your quick success and long-term retention.
The Clara sales model. We engineered a transparent system built to help you win big:
- #Ownership (uncapped potential): We deeply value the individual contributor. Our top-performing AEs consistently earn more than their managers, backed by absolutely zero commission caps and access to company equity.
- #Simplicity & #Clarity (transparent compensation): No complex math required. Your variable compensation is directly aligned with business goals, with real-time visibility over your metrics so you always know exactly where you stand.
- #Inclusivity (teamwork meets territory): We carve out clear, fair territories so you can autonomously run your own book of business, backed by a highly collaborative global team.
- #Pride (a product that delivers): We build exceptional spend management products that actually solve the customer's pain points, making your pitching process smoother and more impactful.
- #ABC (an expanding arsenal): We never settle. Continuous platform innovation and new product launches mean you always have an ever-growing toolkit to cross-sell and hit your targets faster.

Hybrid at Clara
Claridians split their time between the office, customers and home. We don't set a minimum number of office days for most roles, but we expect you to spend time there naturally, and most days during your ramp-up or when your leader asks.
If you meet the must-haves, apply — the nice-to-haves are a bonus, not a requirement.
