IT Systems & Platform Engineer (f/m/d)

eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. Our unique approach combines laser-cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields. Role Overview: We are looking for an IT Systems & Platform Engineer (f/m/d) to join our IT team in Siegen. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting and operating our cloud infrastructure, engineering platforms, monitoring systems, development platforms, and secure access environments. The role operates within a defined IT strategy and governance framework. You will take ownership of operational execution, contribute technical expertise, and play a key role in building modern IT capabilities across the organization. Responsibilities: - Support and maintain cloud infrastructure, identity systems, and endpoint management platforms( Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot) - Support engineering and development platforms, including SolidWorks, 3DEXPERIENCE, CST Studio Suite, COMSOL, GitLab, CI/CD environments, and engineering license servers, ensuring reliability, security, and usability - Support secure access technologies, including Microsoft Global Secure Access, Zero Trust initiatives, and connectivity validation across internal and client environments - Automate operational tasks using scripting and contribute to improving system reliability, visibility, and operational efficiency - Maintain documentation, support disaster recovery readiness, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT environment
