Java Backend developer

Role: Java Back-end Developer Location: Alpharetta, GA Duration: 2 years+ Interview type: In-person after phone Candidate is needed to assist in the development of several outstanding reporting initiatives and development within applications, as well as application migrations and oracle upgrades - At least 4 years’ experience in Java and related technology. - Unix and Windows hardware architecture - Unix scripting skills - Windows scripting skills (command file, Visual Basic batch, Microsoft Office integration) - Testing methodology - Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps. - Interface with different departments within the organization regarding new deployments. - Solid experience working with development teams on the deployment of large volume transaction based applications (Java). - Candidate should exhibit strong coding skills and have experience of recent application development. - Software code management and Oracle database, 11G, is also a must. - Must be able to work well within a team and have excellent oral and written communication skills since this position will be responsible for dealing with business customers in an ongoing basis. - The developer will be communicating with a variety of people, (business, IT technical teams, etc), so they must have very clear communication. - Oracle performance optimization - Java - Heavy SQL - Heavy Java/Swing - Telecom/wireless background is helpful All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
