QC Inspector - Piping

Our benefits include Accommodation Transportation Flight Tickets Medical Insurance General Characteristics (Job Summary) - Perform quality activities in accordance with quality management system established. - Establish inspection and test plans and its record forms as per project requirements and international codes and standards. - Carry out inspections on discipline responsible to determine whether work performed conforms to quality requirements, and recording its result. - Ensure inspection status is controlled through efficient tools such as inspection matrix.Roles and Responsibilities - Managing and performing inspection of Piping discipline - Generate client Requests For Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points. - Prepare / Review the following Quality procedure documents submitted by the Subcontractors such are Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Material Approval Request (MAR). - Prepare / Review / Approve the related inspection reports where inspection results are recorded. - Controlling inspection status by using systematic tools such as inspection matrix. - Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP and managing Matrix). - Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly. - Performing and coordinating inspection with client. - Carry out QC Supervisor’s responsibility in their absence. - Control quality violations through regular tool box talk with the construction team. - Review and track material submittals required for Piping Definable Features of Work prior to Preparatory Meetings. - Conduct Preparatory Meetings with Subcontractors related to Piping Definable Features of Work. - Inspect incoming material deliveries by confirming specifications and compliance with approved submittals, conduct visual and measurement tests in conjunction with the onsite logistics team. - Reject and facilitate the return of unacceptable materials. - Ensure to apply lessons learnt and proper preventive action conducted. - Review pre-fabricated spool release, welding history and perform inspections. - Review and Approval of Test Packages, line walk, punch preparation and Hydro test inspection. - Monitor RT backlog as per project requirements.
